"MUSH YOUR OWN DOG TEAM"
We invite you to be a part of the adventure on one of our backcountry dog sled tours.
Join us for a 1/2 Day Adventure along our scenic 12.5 mile private trail where you learn how to "Mush Your Own Team" of
Alaskan Huskies.
Approximately 2 hours On-Sled
2 Guests per sled. One guest is the musher & the other is the passenger. Half way around the trail if both guests are over 80 pounds, we stop & switch so that each guest has a chance to mush/drive the sled.
After the tour
Enjoy snuggle time! Giving the dogs love, attention and thanking them for the ride.

Additional Tour Information
Guests under 80 lbs. may have the option to stand on the back of the sled with an adult and help them mush/drive.
If your group has smaller children, we may have 3 people on one sled (with 2 as passengers and one as a driver) depending on the size and weight of all the guests.

If a Single Occupancy sleds is required based on the makeup of your group
(ex. 5 Guests all over 80 lbs or when the combined weight of 2 guests is exceeds 450 lbs) there will be an additional "single Occupancy Sled" fee applied.

Maximum Sled weight is 450 Lbs.
If 2 Guests exceed the weight limit then you will need to purchase single occupancy sleds.
The Individual Weight limit is 300 Lbs
we can not take anyone over 300 lbs.

Pricing is "PER-PERSON" based on full sled occupancy
$315 per GUEST - 80 lbs or more
$200 per GUEST - under 80 lbs
$50 per LAP CHILD - 2 yr olds
a 2 yr Lap Child must be held by an adult
Peak Season pricing
(December 21- January 5)
$340/80 lbs & over/ $215/under 80 lbs
SINGLE Occupancy Sled Rate is $630/$680
If you are a single or an odd number of Guests over 80 lbs the cost is $325/person ($340/person peak pricing) with Grizzle-T having the option of pairing you with another guest on the sled. If we can't pair you with another guest due to weight limits then a single occupancy sled will be required. Additional fees will be applied to your reservation.
If you DO NOT want to be paired with another guest you need to call Grizzle-T to confirm that a single occupancy sled is available. The cost is $630 ($680 peak pricing) and we will adjust your reservation.

Children must be at least 2 years old to participate in our dog sled tours.
Lap Children:
Children aged 2 can ride as "lap children" and must be securely held by a responsible adult at all times during the tour.
Another adult from your group must be available to drive the sled while the lap child is being held.

Our Dog Sled Tours run 7 days a week starting approximately December 1st (as snow conditions permit) and runs through the first week of April (as snow conditions permit).
Tour START Times:
December - February
8:30 am
1:30 pm
Tour START Time: March - April
8:30 am
March-April: due to warmer temperatures, we typically run one tour per day in the morning.
*Our March/April start time is subject to change based on weather, snow and trail conditions. The start time could be pushed back up to 1 hour - please be aware of this when planning other activities the same day
SHUTTLE SERVICE - $25 PER GUEST
- 8:00am pick-up for morning tour
- 1:00pm pick-up for afternoon tour
** DRIVING TO OUR TRAIL **
MORNING TOUR: arrive at 8:30 am
AFTERNOON TOUR: arrive at 1:30 pm

**Early and Late Season tours**
During early and late seasons, snow and trail conditions may require us to operate on an alternate trail. This trail, located on National Forest land just north of Steamboat, offers a unique experience and is slightly shorter than our primary route. Rest assured, you'll still enjoy a memorable adventure in a stunning mountain setting!
